High Hopes Challenge #60 Create a Scene

Occasionally I participate in challanges set forth by other crafters. Last week I created a Noah's Ark card using blues, greens and purples for a High Hope challenge.

For the second week in a row I am participating and blogging about the weekly High Hopes challenge, create a scene.

When I am watching (insert t.v. show/movie name/sporting event), I like to do something mindless at the same time. Lately, I have been colouring stamped images using my copic markers. That way I will have a nice stash to go to when creating a specific card. I stamped Simon the Sea Turtle and then Masked the Sea Floor Background for the perfect image of what I love to see when I am snorkeling in Hawaii. Add the Palm Trees and Viola, I have the requisite 3 stamped images needed for HH challenge. Click on the picture for a closer look!

Supplies:
High Hopes Stamps; Simon, Sea Floor Background, Palm Tree Coloured with Copic Markers
SU Summer Sun & Bermuda Bay Card Stock
Image background Oval: Bashful Blue embossed with cuttlebug bubble folder and sponged with Bermuda Bay Ink.
Ovals cut with Nestabilities Petite Ovals Large and Small sets.
SU Twill Tape, Doodlebug Design sugar coated brads
3M Mounting foam.

All inspiration for this card can be found in the shores of the Hawaiian Islands. Photo Credits: My Brother!

Changing Blog Name

I've decided to make more of an effort on keeping a blog. It seems that I should really have a place to post my art work. In my opinion, the name and design of my previous blog wasn't catchy. For those of you interested in reading any of the whopping FIVE posts I made, Hand Stamped By Heidi
