High Hopes Blog Hop

Welcome to the High Hopes New Release Blog Hop. If you are following the blog hop, you should have just visited Alex's Blog. If this is your first stop, you can start the blog hop HERE at the High Hopes Blog.

I made a small wreath to show off one of the new stamps. The wreath is 9 1/2 inches wide. To make the wreath I cut 6" by 1/2" Stripes of paper, curled them with the edge of some scissors, and attached them to a foam wreath with hot glue. I punched snowflakes using various Martha Stewart Punches and Snowflake Nestabilites dies (Snowflake 1,2 &3), covered them with Stars Dust Stickles, attached a round clear Rhinestone in the center and then attached them to the wreath with hot glue.

The sentiment is embossed in Gold to match the candle holder.
I made the falling snowflakes background using a big snowflake Background Stamp and silver embossing power. To protect the image from dust, I covered the entire image with clear cardstock.

Here are some close ups.

The sentiment is from a past High Hopes Release

All of the snow flakes are covered in Star Dust Stickles. There is a clear Rhinestone Brad in the center.

The snowflakes are a mix punched out with various Martha Stewart Punches and Snowflake Nestabilities.

Your next and final stop is the wonderful Lacey. Thanks for visiting! I can't wait to read your comments. The stamps go on sale Today....Thursday!

The blog hop will run through Saturday September 24 night at midnight EST. However, the "Home for the Holidays" challenge still be open for 2 weeks.

Hugs!
Heidi

High Hopes Sneak Peak Day 2

Welcome back for High Hopes New Release Sneak Peak Day 2!

I really had fun creating this card. ...I have fun making all my creations, but I am really chuffed by this one. I love the paper...it's the Night Before Christmas Story. I had to use it because the little mouse is not stirring...much. He's tucked up in bed waiting for Father Christmas.

Tomorrow is the big release day and start of the blog hop!

There is still time to help spread the news and enter for a chance to win some of the new releases!

Happy Tuesday Blog Land! I have some exciting news to share. I have been asked to be a guest on the High Hopes Diva Design Team for September, October and November.

My best friend from University introduced me to Stampin' Up and stamping almost 4 years ago. Through the wonders of the internet and wurfing (my new word for surfing the internet), I discovered High Hopes Stamps. My first purchases were from the Noah's Ark collection!

The very first few challenges I ever participated in were High Hopes. Countless challenges (and a ton more money spent) here I am a Guest Diva! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Challenge # 117 is Back to School

I used Mushroom Mouse. It's one of the High Hopes MelJen Stamps, which are on being featured in the first new High Hopes Monthly Special. All of the MelJen Designs will be on sale for the Month of September!

I made a modified Zig Zag card. Here is the Zig Zag card Tutorial by Kristine.  I guess technically my card is a Zig card!

My Little Mouse is reading one of his Astrophysics books!

Supplies Used:
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers, PTI Vintage Touch Ink
Cardstock: SU Crushed Curry
Paper: October Afternoon Rocket Age, Basic Grey Oxford

Magical Mondays Anything Goes Challenge

Now onto this weeks challenge which is ANYTHING GOES and for this challenge we are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles who are offering
Four digi images of the winners choice
Delicious Doodles is a relatively young company with myself, Teri, as the Sole Trader. I have doodled and sketched all of my life, but only started selling my images in the Autumn of 2009.
I design and hand/mouse-draw all of the images that are sold in the Delicious Doodles Shop. Some are cutsie animals, some are sketched flowers, there are a few men's images, some fantasy items and also some 'darker' images featuring Vampires, skulls and Gothic stuff, something for everyone!
Delicious Doodles also has its own Challenges on blogger and a shop blog page featuring inspiration from the Design Team.
And now you can find my images at HYPERLINK "http://sweetpeastamps.com" Sweet Pea Stamps as Rubber Stamps too!
I hope you enjoy using your Delicious Doodles images!
Hugs,
Teri xx
They have kindly donated some images for the DT to have a play with and here is what they have come up with.
Please remember in order to enter our challenge you must use a MAGICAL IMAGE on your creation.
